The library currently has a capacity of more than 3000 books covering all the subjects taught in primary schools and beyond. These subjects include; Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Music, Arts and Crafts, Physical education, Religious education, and Computer Studies.
The children and staff are updated with current affairs through the newspapers i.e. Daily Monitor, New Vision, and The Observer that the school buys on a daily basis. The majority of the books were bought by the school and some were donated by Religious organizations and silkon library Mukono. The Library is managed by a professional Librarian whom the school recruited a couple of years ago.
GROUP READING
With our well-trained and experienced teachers, our little children in the nursery are able to learn how to read and carry group discussions as well.
We do teach and train our students in teamwork. which has helped us achieve tremendous results. Our little kids at a tender age are able to read and speak before people.
Our library operates from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm for the day session and 8.00 pm-9.00 pm for the evening session from Monday to Friday and 9.00 am-4.00 pm Saturday, 11.00 am-3.00 pm Sunday.
The library is not for the pupils and teachers of Mother Majeri primary school alone but for whoever has an interest in carrying out research.
The community in and around Mother Majeri is so thankful to the management and to those other organizations that have contributed to the existence of this facility that has helped in arousing of interest in reading through the simple and well-illustrated supplementary readers.
WRITERS CLUB
Writers clubs have helped our students become powerful writers, news anchors, readers and TV Presenters.
We do all this to expose out hidden talents in our students.
Mother Majeri is one of the greatest learning institutions in Uganda and the East African sub-continent. We are located in Kirinya Bweyogerere, just about a 7-minute drive from Mandela National Stadium, along Kirinya-Bukasa road.
